    • HB 3097 – speeds up disaster recovery fund disbursement for cities.
    • HB 5309 – removes outdated meeting requirements for the Galveston Juvenile Justice Board.
  • Passed SB 65 to help Galveston County adopt uniform work hours for county employees.
  • Secured long-term water, drainage, and flood control resources through SB 7 and HJR 7, dedicating $1 billion annually to the Texas Water Fund starting in 2027.

Protected Texas Land by banning hostile foreign nations, including China and North Korea, from purchasing property in Texas. I’ll always take action to safeguard Texas interests and ensure our state’s future stays secure, stable, and Texas-strong.
Protected Texas Women and Girls in their private spaces making sure women and girls will not be forced to share their lockers rooms, showers, and private spaces with biological men.
Protected Texas Minors by removing the Affirmative Defense argument that protected child groomers and adults who commit sex crimes against the most innocent among us. Created an age verification for access to adult websites.
Protected Texas Children by ending child gender modification surgeries in Texas and ended social gender transitioning in our schools. Supported legislation to prohibit sexual performances in the presence of children.
Protected Texas Unborn Babies and Women by empowering Texans to sue chemical abortion pill traffickers. Supported Safe Haven Baby Boxes. Created an adoption as an alternative curriculum for high school pregnancy & parenting classes.
Protected Every Legal Texas Vote by ensuring that the Attorney General has clear authority to prosecute election law violations. Enshrined in the Texas Constitution that only U.S. citizens can vote. Made it a state jail felony to knowingly register to vote in multiple counties.
Protected our US Constitution by ensuring Texas has representation based on the Constitution and the Voting Rights Act.
Protected the Texas Grid by supporting reforms that added stability, transparency and increased performance.
Protected Texas Parents Rights by a constitutional amendment that enshrines a parent's right to raise their children according to their own values. Authored the legislation that created a parents rights handbook with training for all ISD's on what those rights are. Passed into law that school age parents must now be informed of their rights regarding vaccine exemptions, consent and privacy.
Protected Texas Victims of Sex Trafficking shielding victims from prosecution for certain crimes committed under their trafficker’s force, fraud or coercion. All human trafficking offenses are now first-degree felonies in the state of Texas. At risk youth will now be screened for evidence of human trafficking and health care worker training on detention. Closed the loopholes to prohibit traffickers from simply reopening under a new name at a new location. Carried the bill that implemented rapid DNA tests to be used by law enforcement when probable cause led to the suspicion of sex trafficking.
Protected Texas Victims of Natural Disasters from scams and provided state funding for critical facilities to get backup power sources. Passed into law a TWIA allotment for coastal school districts. Put into Texas law interlocal agreements to enhance communication across cities and counties.
Protected Texans Health with accurate food labeling and the prohibiting harmful additives to food.
Protected Texans Medical Freedom by giving patients the "right to try" individualized treatments. Texans must also be told the truth before any shot is given, including risks, liability protections, and how to report adverse effects. Pharmacists can now dispense Ivermectin without a prescription. No Texan can any longer lose life-saving care, like organ transplants, because of a vaccine status and the Covid vaccine mandate is banned in Texas.
Protected Texas Communities through bail reforms, and making sure those convicted of human trafficking of children or disabled individuals are ineligible for parole. Put into law No Trafficking Zones, that dismantle organized crime, cartels, traffickers, predators, and pimps. Criminalized illegal entry into Texas and funded the border wall and security.
Protected Texas Industry and Businesses with regulatory reforms, cutting red tape & rooting our unnecessary regulations. Supported legislation that supports transparency and preserves the independence of our judicial and regulatory systems. Helped pass personal property business tax exemption.
